Wainscot Media prepares for the return of Society for International Menswear, a highly edited showcase for select international and domestic contemporary and sartorial brands, including sportswear, tailored clothing, footwear and accessories. The event is slated for Sunday, January 22, and Monday, January 23, in New York City at the Metropolitan Pavilion in the heart of New York Cities Chelsea fashion district.

Society for International Menswear (or SIM, for short) will host its second New York City show featuring leading menswear collections from the U.S.,Canada, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, the UK, and other top fashion-producing nations. Industry veterans and former Informa Fashion executives Lizette Chin and Coleman McCartan will manage the trade event under the Wainscot Media umbrella, publisher of the magazines MR, Footwear Plus, and Earnshaw’s.

Chin, Vice President and group publisher of the Luxury Group at Wainscot Media, notes the success and expansion of the show is built on brands that believe in the importance of NewYork as a fashion capital of North America. Collections presenting in January include: 34 Heritage, Adesi Cashmere, Ambitious, American Heritage, Amedeo Testoni, Am.A Line, Baindoux, Bread & Boxers, Carlos Santos, Chervó, Christys’ London, Croclux, Culture of Brave, DeSoto, Edward Green, Fly 3, Hanro, Haus by Everton, Hublot Mode Marine, JEF José Fernandes, Left Coast Tee,Lenor Romano, Luchiano Visconti, Maison Felger, Majestic International, MarcoDal Maso, Monterchiaro, Pierlorenzo, R2 Amsterdam, Schneiders, Serge Blanco,Tailor Vintage, Tateossian, Twllory, Vandoma, Warfield & Grand and others joining daily.

The timing of this show couldn’t be better, as SIM is in sync with the 2023 Fall/Winter buying season for top-tier retailers. “SIM is a gateway for elevated brands wanting to do business in the North American market,” said Chin.
