Wainscot Media Publications Recognized Among Nation's Best in Society of Publication Designers' 61st Annual Competition

Wainscot Media is proud to announce a standout performance in the Society of Publication Designers' 61st Annual Competition (SPD 61), earning eight total recognitions across its portfolio of fashion publications — further building on the company's legacy of more than 300 awards for design and content excellence.

The SPD 61 competition, which celebrates the best editorial work of 2025, drew thousands of entries across 100 categories and was judged by a globally diverse jury of approximately 50 respected visual creatives from seven countries. From that pool, just over 400 Medal Finalists were named across print and digital platforms. Wainscot Media's publications — Footwear Plus, MR, and Earnshaw's Kids — are among more than 70 print publications recognized as Medal Finalists, alongside such titles as The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, National Geographic, Rolling Stone, GQ, and The New York Times Magazine.

Of Wainscot Media's eight honored works, four have advanced to medal consideration in the Design category (Feature, Fashion/Beauty; Single/Spread), representing four of the six total nominations in that category. Medal nominees are selected from the top vote-getters in each category and will compete for Gold and Silver honors. Gold and Silver Medal Winners will be announced virtually during the 61st Annual SPD Awards Presentation on June 11, 2026, followed by an in-person reception in New York City.
